Sixty years deserves more than a cake and a speech.
When QUT Guild came to us to help celebrate 60 years of student representation, they wanted something guests could hold onto — and something that would hold onto the day for them, permanently.
We knew straight away this called for two experiences working together: a keychain booth for guests to take home, and a mosaic booth to build something QUT Guild could keep.
We set up our keychain photo booth alongside our mosaic photo booth, with custom prop signs and colourful props to keep guests smiling all afternoon.
At the keychain booth, guests posed for a photo strip and walked away minutes later with a custom branded keychain made on the spot — 300 of them by the end of the day. Everyone also took home a full-sized photo strip of their own, so there were two keepsakes from one booth.

Every photo taken also became part of something bigger. All up, 660 photos were pieced together into a mosaic artwork nearly 2m wide and 1.5m tall — a giant piece of QUT Guild’s legacy, built photo by photo, guest by guest.
By the end of the celebration, 300 guests walked away with a keychain, a photo strip, and a story to tell.
QUT Guild walked away with something even bigger: a 660-photo mosaic that will hang in their office — a lasting reminder of everyone who showed up to celebrate 60 years.
