The team at Arup Brisbane came to us with a strong creative theme — Welcome to the Jungle — for their end of year corporate party. They wanted a photo booth experience that did more than tick the “we had a photo booth” box.
The brief was specific. Guests should be drawn in by curiosity, not obligation. They should leave talking about it. And the experience should feel like a natural extension of the theme, not an off-the-shelf photo booth against a jungle backdrop.
For a global engineering firm whose people are used to seeing the latest tech in their day jobs, that meant we needed to bring something genuinely impressive to the table.
We built a fully custom AI photo booth experience designed around the Welcome to the Jungle theme.
Guests stepped in, had their photo taken, and watched as our AI photo booth transformed them in real time — placing them inside immersive jungle scenes and reimagining them as characters from three distinct themed worlds:

Every guest received:
Across a four-hour event window — including formalities, where the booth wasn’t able to be accessed — we delivered over 130 photo booth sessions and produced more than 400 printed photos for guests to take home.
Beyond the numbers, the booth did exactly what Arup wanted it to do. It pulled people in, held their attention long enough for the AI to do its work, and sent them back to their tables with something new to show their colleagues. The conversation around the room shifted as people compared their AI transformations.
That kind of organic, in-room engagement is exactly what a corporate end of year party should deliver. It’s the difference between a photo booth in the corner and an entertaining experience people are still messaging each other about the next morning.
For a themed corporate event with a creative, tech-savvy audience, the AI photo booth was the right experience for three reasons.
It met the theme on its own terms. A traditional print booth with jungle props would have been fine. The AI booth made the theme the experience — guests didn’t just stand in front of a jungle, they became part of one. That’s a fundamentally different level of engagement.
It delivered share-worthy content. AI-generated portraits are unusual enough to be worth posting. The Disney, Marvel and 8-bit transformations gave guests three different versions of themselves to choose from — which meant three different reasons to share, three different reactions in the group chat.
It matched the audience. Arup’s people work with cutting-edge technology every day. A booth that did something they hadn’t seen before — and did it well — landed exactly the way the brief intended. Curiosity on the way in, excitement on the way out.
